Cuba (March 1996)

The first three pictures were taken by Marcela Castillo, a professional Chilean photographer - yes, the scanning was not very good... :-(

Salvador de Bahia, Brasil (August 1996)

• Pictures and offers at Bomfin's church at Salvador
  The tradition is to tie one or more color cloth bands in your wrist and ask a wish. The band is kept until brokes by natural use. If the wish has been granted, you take an offer to the church, which can be a picture of the person saved, the part of the body that was involved, etc. This is a mixture between the catholic and animist african cults (from the slaves).

  People is being convinced by the electrical experiments done with an alive eel!
