In this applet you can see how the most outstanding feature of a token rong works. The Token which allows computer to transmit is shown here as a brown rectangle. This rectangle is transmited from one computer to another. First, computer A retains it to send a message to computer B. The message goes arround the whole ring but it is only recovered by the computer to which is addressed. After transmitting its message, computer a brings the brown token in circulation again, which is reteined by D to transmit a message to C.
