NetObs: Network Observer
Download it here (beta).
NetObs is a tool for performing complex network analysis
visually. It presents data in two ways: a bihistogram,
that illustrates the probability a node X links to Y,
f(X,Y), according to their attributes;
and a plot graph, that draws the nodes of a
network as points in a plot graph, and then draws the
links.
For directed links or arcs; non directed links or edges
have to be treated with care.
A short manual, with some idiomatic mistakes, can be
downloaded here. (This was
supposed to be part of my MSc thesis. I'm currently
writing an improved version, with cleaner and simpler
english.)
Sample dataset:
- Nodes (firms),
with financial statements.
- Links (share), only
investments >10% of ownership.
