Sketch Based Image Retrieval (SBIR)

SBIR is a variant of classical content based image retrieval applications. In SBIR systems the input is a handrawing that lacks color and texture. To deal with this problem, we have proposed S-HELO (Soft-Histogram of Edge Local Orientations) that outperforms current methods. An example of the performance of S-HELO is showed by the video that appears below:
